12 - hour clock

Hi there, i just got opensuse 11 and i love it!! the OpenSuSE team really put in alot of effort for this, i love it! My question is how do i get opensuse to show a 12-hour clock instead of 24 hour, i right clicked and edited the clock, but there isnt an option for that, anyone have any ideas?

Assuming you are running KDE 3.5, you can go to the KDE Control Centre (Alt-F2, then type kcontrol), find the Regional & Accessibility menu on the left, expand it, and find the time and date tab. Once you are there you can change the Time format in the appropriate drop down. :slight_smile:

thanks for the reply! acutally im not running kde 3.5, im running kde 4.0.4 and i looked in the new personal settings but i cant find anything to deal with 12 hour setup. :frowning:

Menu->Configure Desktop->General Tab
Personal Section->Regional & Language
Country/Region & Language->Time & Dates Tab

Then modify Time format:

What a trek. That really should be in the right-click menu.
