I have 12.3 running in the end after all the reported trouble
Here is how i did it
In Yast Configured Software Repositories i change every entry there from 12.2 in 12.3
Then in Yast Software Management i upgraded first 12.3 Oss then 12.3 Kde4 then 12.3 update
and then the other repositories
dependencies do not install do that the second time 99% of dependencies are gone then
Then the big moment will the system boot the way I want it so Grub NO Grub2
Normal all in yast is working as it was in 12.2
I gave it a <ctrl> <alt> ,delete>
It hanged so i powered off
Rebooted and behave and behold 12.3 booted the way 12.2 did in the same lightning speed
SO THIS IS 12.3 AS I EXPECTED IT WOULD BE
and not the way the installer is messing up my system either it wont install and a dvd upgrade after the reboot ( kexec is not working) is so slow i can go make coffee :’(
.
So i am happy with my 12.3 running my way on kernel 3.8.5.1 updated KDE updated printing updated Libreoffice ;);)
Only one wish remains a updated cpufreq mperf.ko and powernow-k8 as i have a AMD-FX-8120 and thats no K8 nor a Xenon
thanks for all the support the last weeks with what went wrong here.
