12.3 jitsi missing from network:telephony repo and offsite rpm will not install

Hi,

Jitsi - an alternative to Skype - is listed as a member of the network:telephony project

https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=jitsi&project=network%3Atelephony

so I added the repo

Index of /repositories/network:/telephony/openSUSE_12.3

but there is no jitsi there ( and the source is hopelessly stale v1.0, anyway)

So I tried a direct rpm install with

:~>su
#zypper install http://download.jitsi.org/jitsi/rpm/jitsi-2.0-latest.x86_64.rpm

This fails with a

Problem: nothing provides java >= 1:1.5.0 needed by jitsi-2.0-4506.10553.x86_64

As there is clearly a java with a version > 1.5, what is going on here ? Is this because there is no Oracle Java, only the OpenJDK version ?

I am running 12.3 Gnome on x86_64.
