12.2 release party in Moscow

Hi friends!
I was supprized that last year there was no any 12.1 release party in Moscow Russia. Otherwise many cities of the wirld were celebrating it. What are plans for such party for 12.2 in Moscow? Who is responsible for it in Russia? And what are the plans for the date of this release? I hope it would be at the mid of Semtember?

Thank you in advance!

Have a look at the openSUSE ambassadors page at http://en.opensuse.org/
Ambassadors - there’s one listed for Russia, but maybe not for Moscow.

As for who’s responsible - the community is. Taking on an ambassador
role and coordinating events are a couple of ways to get involved in the
project.

Hi, friends, thanks a lot for all this information. I’ll talk to ambassador. In any case to organize such a meeting we need someone with good skills to make a brief presentation of a new release.

Unfortunately didn’t find anyone from Moscow in this list. Probably there’s any typical scheme of such parties? If not in this year, than the next it would be easier to organise. I expect there should be some type of presentation of a new release + (as a variant) - instalation trial, and some dinner. Probably there are some materials to participants? If there’s any consolidated information, could you please share. Thanks in advance!

Probably the best bet is to contact the coordinator for the ambassadors
team - IIRC, those individuals tend to be the ones who handle this sort
of thing, and would know where the info was that you’re looking for.
