12.2. - display pic& wlan not working after installation

Hi,

I’ve just installed SUSE 64bit KDE on physical machine. Dual booting with Backtrack and Windows 7.

and display pic is not right.
Using : main monitor (1920x1080) , second (1280x1024) extended
graphic card: NVIDIA Geforce 8800 GTS

this is what I’am getting, cursor is a dot and everything I try to open is a blur…(could’t do prtsrc obviously)

everything worked fine through live session.

wlan card not working, seeable through Yast, tryed to configure and saved to start on boot, but no go.

Install the kernel-firmware package. If that is not the problem, open a separate
thread on this issue in the wireless forum.

Hi, if I were you, I’d switch off the machine, unplug the second monitor and reboot. Chances are that this will allow you to boot normally. Then install the Vvidia drivers and plug in the second monitor after that HTH Lenwolf
