Как ребут в 12.1?

Не понимаю… подвисает комп, када из putty, делаю либо

linux-6wtd:/etc/init.d # ./halt --reboot
либо
linux-6wtd:/etc/init.d # ./reboot

И под рутом, и без рута (с sudo и паролем)

Из KDE “Restart” работает отлично.

Как ребутается ОпенСусе? Подскажите, ребята!

А просто команда reboot или shutdown -r now работает?
Просто насколько я вижу вы в ручную запускаете скрипты /init.d которые в 12.1 по сути оставлены для совместимости со старой системой загрузки и выполняю редиректы, возможно чего нибудь работает неправильно, теперь используется systemd.

Для systemd, который появился в 12.1, используются следующие команды:

systemctl reboot
systemctl halt
systemctl poweroff
systemctl emergency
systemctl rescue

Всем привет. У меня тоже похожая проблема, но наоборот с выключением питание через кде-меню-выключить, из консоли от рута poweroff срабатывает отлично, но это не очень удобно, подскажите, в какую сторону копать

сам разобрался разбираясь с 3G модемом :slight_smile: в GRUB для ядра были прописаны параметры: apm=off acpi=off mce=off barrier=off ide=nodma idewait=50 i8042.nomux psmouse.proto=bare irqpoll pci=nommconf
скорее всего виноваты были apm и/или acpi. В образовательных целях хотелосьбы узнать что делают mce=off, barrier=off, i8042.nomux, psmouse.proto=bare, а то в инэте найти не получилось
