12.1 OpenSuse guest on VBox. Compiz not working

Hi,

I have a 12.1 guest on VBox. Guest additions are installed.

I thought that compiz was supposed to work on the guest in VBox, but can’t get any effects.

3d acceleration is enabled in VBox, the effects are ticked to load at startup on the guest and there are no error messages when I select effects and click apply (which I got before installing the additions). So everything seems to be set up ok - just no effects.

I read somewhere that SELinux has to be disabled. I went into bootloader and SELinux isn’t ticked, so I guess that’s not the issue.

Any help would be appreciated.
