12.1 - make GDM3 not display list of users.

Anyone know how to make GDM3 in openSUSE 12.1 display a prompt for a username instead of a list of users?

I’ve found various convoluted methods on forums relating to other distros that I have haven’t been able to make work. I’ve also found references to configuration files which don’t exist in openSUSE 12.1. I’ve been unable to locate any official documentation on how to do it.

Ideally I want a method which can be easily applied to multiple machines. Like what to put in what configuration files.

Hi Mike
In 3.2.1 there is suppose to be a “disable-user-list” gsettings key

Anyway, have a read of the bug: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/660660

Ah, well that explains why I couldn’t get anything to work I guess.
I’m poking at openSUSE 12.1 on an assumption that it’s going to form the basis of SLED 12. On a stand alone machine, not being able to disable the list of users is merely irritating. In the environment I use SLED in, it would make GDM unusable. (As I suspect would for anyone who authenticates their machines against a directory containing thousands of users).
