Hi. A few days ago i installed the 12.1 M5 Gnome edition. It is very nice and stable but i have a question. Why is Compiz installed? I believe Compiz is incompatible with Gnome-Shell. Thanks
I don’t know about M5, but I’m running the beta release with Gnome, and I don’t see Compiz installed. Mutter appears to be the compositing engine being used.
