The only way to really tell if a PCI device is supported in the kernel is to
examine its PCI ID. Please open a terminal and enter â/sbin/lspci -nnvâ. Scroll
back to the stanza that describes your Attansic L1 and post it here. If you have
to transcribe by hand, only include the first line, which will look something like

the little network applet i have in the taskbar is greyed out and it doesnt want to connect
it lists a eth0 but disconnected and it doesnt want to connect even with a static ip
I am connected to a Dlink router and it works fine in Vista and Ubuntu
i tried ifconfig.It gives me the eth0 with no ip not even a 169.x.x.x.
iconfig up tells me :
error fetching interface information Device not found
Now iâm lost
Any other suggestions?

PS : It doesnt detect properly my Nvidia 7300GS either so i cannot change the resolution either and i a stuck with a 1024x768 on a 22"monitor
I am guessing because i donât have the driver installed but i need the Internet to fix it
