11.4 the faster desktop?

Hi, i read on OMGsuse The incredible improvement of the Linux desktop, with 224 lines | OMG! SUSE! that with 11.4 and all fixes included in the kernel, we will see a much faster and responsive desktop.
If thats true, i cheer to it. Honestly, i can’t wait to see march coming and to have the new version on my computer.

Since i don’t run several different versions on my computer (i only have one computer at this moment) i need to wait for it. But it will be like christmas all over again:)
I am very hopeful with the next release :wink:

I’m noticing better speed performance running M5 on VB. I don’t know if I want to upgrade at this point, though.

Running 11.4 M5 KDE on my old laptop and I definitely find it fast. I’m looking forward to the final release :slight_smile:
