Howdy,
The 11.4 RC6 version boots off CDs OK, but doesn’t work from a memory stick.
When booting off USB, I get the message:
Couldn’t find Live image configuration file.
I have not yet tried it myself but maybe this may help:
openSUSE:Most annoying bugs 11.4 dev - openSUSE
USB-boot broken (Bug #666504) - workaround: use LiveCD from Milestone 5 of 6 or a Factory iso for install and afterwards run zypper up.
And if you chose the second probably more bold way:
to chose the ‘right’/best factory iso you may have a look at the according test results:
openQA.opensuse.org
