Just downloaded and booted kde live after reading the latest kernel was supposed to have sd card reader drivers.
Device Notifyer does not detect nor pop up an option to mount an inserted sd card.
Yast partitioner sees the sd card as /dev/mk??? and correctly detects it’s format type as FAT32.
Hope this gets included in this release.
HP DV7T with integrated SD card reader.
Hi

Desktop.

I’ve reviewed numerous threads on this issue but no resolutions.
I think I read a bug report addressing this and that it would be fixed in 2.37 kernel.
I’ll try booting to Gnome and see it works there.

Thanks for that tip Malcom.
Booting to Gnome in 11.3 I see it mounted /media/Toshiba250 so booted back to KDE 11.3 and saw it in /media/Toshiba250 bot with root:root permissions.
Went into File Manager Super User Mode and changed permissions and was able to write to it.
Still nothing in either Gnome or KDE Device Notifier 11.3 or 11.4.
