11.4 milestone 2 and networkmanager in KDE

Anyone succesfully connected to wifi via networkmanager in KDE? Networkmanager see wifi but can’t connect. It’s buggy since 11.3…

Just installed M2 kde
Not issues here

What wireless security do you have? I download GNOME version yet and test here…

WPA2
Intel 3945ABG

There is something wrong with netwokmanager in KDE, because in GNOME connecting to wifi works without problems. Netwokmanager in KDE4 is greatest weakness of this desktop, never worked for me since 11.2 (KDE4).

What are your wireless details from

/sbin/lspci -nnk

I can’t see anything about wireless with lspci -nnk command, strange. But networkmanager see AP. Dmesg output is:

    2.532489] usb 1-2: New USB device found, idVendor=07d1, idProduct=3c03
    2.532492] usb 1-2: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0

and lsusb -v output:

it seems as missing firmware, but GNOME live cd works like charm. It is possible that on KDE live cd isn’t firmware for ralink rt73 included?

The reason lspci didn’t return is because your device is USB not PCI

No

HCL:Network (Wireless) - openSUSE

It should be working, but it didn’t in KDE.
