I am running opensuse 11.3 on a 64 bit system. After updating a number of packages from various repositories, the yast2 “Software Repositories” module crashes immediately after invocation with the following error message:
/usr/lib/YaST2/bin/y2base: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/YaST2/plugin/libpy2Pkg.so.2: undefined symbol: _ZNK4zypp4Date4formERKSs
reinstallation of libpy2Pkg.so doesn’t solve the problem.
Besides the opensuse standard repositories I have enabled the following repositories: Packman SuSE 11.3; Suse Test Repository ; openSUSE-11.3-Update. I suspect that the crash is caused by some inconsistency of a module updated from the Test Repository. But which? Because of the consistent crash I can’t disable any repository to trace down what the crash might cause. Anybody any idea, how to solve the problem ?
