11.3 resolution & font problem with specific monitor

Hi,
I setup 11.3 on PC and Belinea monitor (troubleshoting monitor).
Everything was fine but since I installed nvidia driver (via 1-click wizard) resolution and font-size has broken :frowning:
So I plugg another one monitor - Samsung SyncMaster and reboot system. After boot-up resolution and either font size were OK. I was able to select correct resolutoion and font size wasn’t so tiny like on Belina.

It’s looks like OS 11.3 have problem with correct output on belinea monitor. Driver is installed correctly. I tried to genereate new xorg.conf but it dosen’t help.
:frowning:
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Some nvidia users have reported success by generating xorg.conf with ‘nvidia-xconfig’ (at runlevel 3 as root) first, then when back at the desktop, using ‘nvidai-settings’ to configure monitor etc.

BTW, you’ll need root privileges, so run like this

kdesu nvidia-settings

it dosen’t help.
Any other suggestions?

I know nothing about your monitor specs.

  1. Post the native display resolution here. What type of cable connection is it using? (VGA, DVI…) Is it a LCD monitor?

  2. Post the output of this terminal command

xrandr

This will tell us what display modes Xorg detected (via the driver).

  1. Post your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file if it exists. (It will if you executed nvidia-xconfig).
