I also see that the Education repo is not listed in YAST community repos. I
don’t know whether that’s better or worse than 11.1 when it was there but
the URL was wrong.

I will also be looking for that when I migrate from my testing partition. Didn’t you used to package it for openSUSE before Education became the main source? :\

No. I made the crucial mistake of pointing out that Gramps wiki page was
well out-of-date for info on where to get openSUSE updates and hence found
myself volunteered into updating it. I thought I’d learnt not to drop myself
into such things long ago but I was wrong!

IIRC you were also mentioned as a contact for openSUSE version on the Gramps site. The openSUSE wiki page you mention may have been the one that referred to a lot of Gnome dependencies. That was quite daunting for a newish openSUSE KDE user (with no Gnome DE) back then. However the gramps gui looked good on KDE, so I went for it, and have kept reasonably up to date ever since. So a belated thanks to you.
