11.2 Live CD won't load

Trying to run openSUSE 11.2 live CD on a new build. Biostar P4M900-M4 mobo (VIA VT8237A chipset), P4 2.8Ghz, 4Gb ram.

The computer boots the live cd. I select the KDE desktop and it appears to start to load.
I end up with a screen saying there is no CD/USB device. Both the HD and DVD drive are IDE. Is it a problem with this chipset? Would 11.1 be a better choice on this setup?

Did you verify the media?

As syampillai said, verify the media. Also, check if there is a BIOS update. Since the drives are IDE, make sure the jumpers are correct for where they are on the cable and that BIOS agrees.
