Thanks caf4926 for your time you took for taking a shot at my issue. Even though it didnt fix it up, but you tried to help me out and that is important. So thanks once again.

@Akoellh. It would have been great to have a hint from you earlier. I wouldnt have reinstalled it again and perhaps could have fixed the issue(ofcourse with your hints) you are a Wise Penguin and am a Puzzled Penguin :slight_smile: Well with your logic that all who dont really know whats going on inside the box deserve to get stuck, almost all the newbies will be stalled at some point or other. Thats why we are puzzled Penguin and all the people who “know what goes on inside the box” are wise ones and perhaps they are suppose to get puzzled ones out of the woods :slight_smile:
But I must say that forum here is one of the most prompt forum where in there are people like caf4926 and lwfinger who are willing to help and perhaps makes people like me stick with Suse 11.2

Stick with it. It’s a real learning curve making the transition to Linux and even moving Distro can be difficult.
You’ll meet all sorts here. Try not to take what some say… too personally:)

Great!!! Sure am here to stick with Suse, although am not that of a windows user, I have had spent quite sometime on Solaris when I was at school :slight_smile:
