I try to use digikam application in kde
it searches my hole HDD for more than 6 houers
now it looks in /proc/3447/root/proc/root/fooomyimagesin
last number i have is /proc/7359
but it looks like it goes in circle
is it normally? why it works out of my home directory
I am really expect it will search only in folder I show for it e.g.
~/Documents/MyFotoDIR but it did not
maybe ther eare any way to stat it from command line with some key
that it did not search anything…
I am frustrating with this

Try defining the digikam search maybe the default is /, make it /home. You can find it in the left side of the digikam window.
Ops sorry I didn’t catch that you already did it. But here, same thing first time when opening it, searches the entire / directories but I switch it to /home and it stops and every time I open it search point to /home.
