My Yast2 Administrator Setting > Software Management tool just started crashing. I have KDE3.5.10 on openSuse 11.1 kernel 2.6.27.37-0.1-pae.
There wasn’t anything similar in the archives, so maybe I’m on the wrong forum. If so where does this belong?
I’m trying to install hylafax which needs ghostscript. When I give the Software Management tool the “Accept” it crashes like a soap bubble!
I don’t see anything relevant in dmesg. There must be a log of the install tool somewhere.
I tried refreshing my repositories and that completed successfully. My network connection is dial-up, so my 4-5 repositories take a half-hour to refresh.
Both hylafax and ghostscript installs crash the Software Management tool.
