11.1-RC1 ipw2200 - NetworkManager does not work, YaST fine

I have the same issue on the 11.1-RC1 Gnome LiveCD and a 11.1-RC1 install from DVD.

When using NetworkManager I can connect to my wireless router (WPA-PSK, DHCP) and get an IP address… Beyond that point I can’t connect to anything beyond the router. I can’t even ping other systems attached to the same router.

When I use YaST to configure the wifi connection everything works just fine.

I’ve never had issues with my wifi card in the past, and configuration via YaST works properly, so I suspect something is amiss with NetworkManager. Anyone else experience this problem or know a fix?

My router is a basic Netgear 802.11g, set up with MAC filtering, WPA passphrase, and regular old DHCP. It isn’t anything fancy and shouldn’t present a problem.

Works fine for me on my Tecra M3 (ipw2200), I’m connecting to a linksys
WRT54G with a visible essid.
Are you getting the gateway and DNS addresses ok?

I didn’t sort out the issue, even after zypper dup the problem remained.

I just did a fresh 11.1 DVD install, however; and now NetworkManager works fine.
