I downloaded it using Vuze, originally it said x amount of days, don’t know why as I’m on 20Mb broadband, sat at the pc in msn, next thing it had downloaded.
Did you download the x86-64 iso from the pirate bay?
the image there ( http://bayimg.com/image/iamojaabg.jpg ) is not the number of days left now, it was the number of days left when it was uploaded. The i586 iso was uploaded even earlier, six days before the launch. rotfl!
I was planning on downloading it via http, but gave me 2 corrupted downloads >.<… so my simultaneously running torrent was the file I used in the end.
Slowest download I’ve ever had, was dripping in at 100KB/s
I’m downloading the torrent with KTorrent. 
Never tried this metalink. I know that Firefox’s Down Them All addon supports it, but now am not using FF… his performance was very poor in the last few moths.
i used standard download with flashget. total download time 46min 28 sec. i have comcast 12m internet about 50 miles outside chicago

standard, torrent is not so good in my place and i don’t know how to configure it. My internet is not so fast. I try torrent download and the speed just 15KB/s. It will need whole day to got it. So i try standard and get better speed ( 200KB/s ).
