Will updates repair corruption?
There’s very little damage that I’m aware of, and updates does modify GRUB each time (the wrong way however), so I’m guessing most all system files get re-written on updates???
Update only changes affected files in updated packages. It doesn’t repair file corruption in other parts of the system.
