Hi!
I´ve spent some time now trying to get Suse 11.0 64 bit edition torun on my new Notebook.
Samsung Q70-Aura Tirana. CPU Intel Core 2 Duo T5750, 2 GHz; RAM: 1 x 2GB + 1 x 1GB, 2 DIMM, RAMtype: DDR2, 667 MHz; Northbridge-Chipset: Intel 965GM, Southbridge-Chipset: Intel ICH8M
It installs just fine but when it reboots after installing it gets stuck. (The boot-screen shows and and the status bar moves a tiny bit before it gets stuck.)
I can boot the System in the failsafe mode, though.
I thoght, that there were some driver Problems and so I logged in as root and had the system update itself but unfortunately I kept getting the message that there were an number of updates but when I try to update (i.e. click to execute), the system says it would need some authorisation.
I´m not a complete newbie, I have 10.3 running for quite a while but I am not an expert neither.
I´d apreciate any help I can get.
Greetz,
fat_ray
P.S.: I´ve Just installed 10.3 on my new notebook aswell and it works fine as it seems.
