[11.0] realtek driver no longer works

hi,

before I went to 11.0 I kept all the drivers I used for 10.3 and 11.0 found most of the things, except my sound card.

I tried using my realtek HD audio driver but it wouldn’t find the sound card and now as a result I get a Xine error that will not go away.

first off, is there a way to get rid of the Xine error(it claims some file is no longer around xine.so i think it is)

does anyone know why the driver will not work for 11.0 but does for 10.3? is the kernel for 11.0 that much different?

thanks

Yes.
