11.0 Install of Marvel Wireless USB

Hi,
I am a new user of SuSe.
Install went fine other than Wireless USB is not recognised.
Out put as follows;
/usr/bin/lsusb
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 1286:1fab Marvell Semiconductor, Inc.
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Probe using Yast/Hardware/Hardware Information reveals;
device is Marvel V1.0.2.1.

Can anyone advise on step-by-step method from this point on to try and get this device working and connecting to my BT Homehub?

Cheers,
BL

Unfortunately, Marvel chip-sets in wireless devices are poorly supported at the moment ( not linux’s fault,but the manufacturer’s for not providing support ). Your best bet would be to use ndiswrapper. A few tutorials can be found:-

Hi,
Many thanks for the reply, pity about the lack of Linux support for this device. I will give ndiswrapper a try.

Cheers
