Default AW: Remove HFS filesystem from blacklist.

I would copy all files from the hfs-disk on an disk with vfat or fat or what needed and use this one.....

How does that help me to get hfs formatted volumes mounted by the OS?

Default AW: Remove HFS filesystem from blacklist.

    I would say:
It's the easiest way to get your data.

And use it with some other Hardware......

You would need to install the kernel source and build the hfs module, install and probe. Then add hfs to /etc/filesystems.
    I have the kernel source.
I have found /usr/src/linux/fs/hfs. There are a number of foo.c files and a Makefile. Can you tell what to do next or some very simple directions?
    Thanks.

    Hi
I suspect it was yourself who posted on alt.os.linux.suse? Try this module (remember to ad hfs to /etc/filesystems).

    Yes, twas me :-)

Is this a source rpm or the compiled module?
If not source, will installing the rpm install the module and where?
As you can see, I am a complete newbie.
    Thanks.

    Hi
    Both are there, but just use zypper direct and ignore the warning, or add the repo and use yast or zypper;

    Code:
    zypper in https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/malcolmlewis:/TESTING/15.3_Update/x86_64/hfs-kmp-default-5.3.18_k5.3.18_150300.59.93-lp153.1.1.x86_64.rpm
