    first I remember that it hasn't a progression bar when is formatting so I don't know when the format procedure is finished
    second it doesn't format to exfat
    I tried gparted and it seems to works better, so I would like to try kde partitionmanager but at first glance gparted seems bettere

    partitionmanager has a nice and slick gui, IMHO.

    I have no idea which"partitionmanager" you mean here, but I only asked because for an openSUSE system manager, YaST seems to be the most logical to use. Thus when someone wants to use something else for a specific function, I am curious. I have even no idea what this Gnome tool is good for, or looks like, because I do not use Gnome. I am satisfied with the answer of the OP, things that are interesting to know.

    It's KDE tool. " KDE partitionmanager".

    Oh sorry. I have BTW no idea why any Desktop Environment suite should have a partition manager.

    I have it in xfce so not exclusively just for KDE.
