[aegisub] Video preview horizontaly flipped
Greetings,
I use record-my-desktop to generate a .ogv file for my lectures.
It was a long time I didn't used aegisub and whatever the way I open the video (either from dolphin or from aegisub) the video is horizontaly flipped... worse the old files I did with subtitles have their video flipped too ^^
I use ffmpeg to convert from ogv to mp4, format required to be opened in aegisub (same behaviour with most of the format tested -- webm, mkv, ...).
In the application preferences I don't see things related to an eventual big/little endianess... so I'm out of the ideas to find a way to keep on working on aegisub (the comfort is high with this app, don't like the others).
Is anyone got an idea ?
Versions:
OS: LEAP 15.2 on both AMD proc (ryzen 7) and GPU (RX 550).
ffmpeg: 4.2.1
aegisub: 3.3.2
recordmydeskytop: 0.3.8.1

Display depends on video flags of ffmpeg, such as "-vf=hqdn3d\=1.5:1.5:6:6\,scale\=min(iw\\\,trunc(iw*min($videoWidth/iw\\\,$videoHeight/ih)*0.5)*2):min(ih\\\,trunc(ih*min($videoWidth/iw\\\,$videoHeight/ih)*0.5)*2)\,unsharp\=3:3:1.0:3:3:0.0\,$normalizeOrientation" used by jAlbum's base skin and even more elaborate expressions. You may post aegisub's current value of -vf.

Re: [aegisub] Video preview horizontaly flipped
I did not understand...
Do I check ffmpeg default flags ?
I would try to downgrade ffmpeg as it worked before ? Some updates has been done since...

If the videos play properly in other players like vlc or smplayer then the problem is with aegisub, not with the videos or the encoding.
If you open them in another sub editor, say subtitleeditor, and load the video or create a waveform, do you have the same issue?
