Nothing in either command about the wired Ethernet. This is a new Dell laptop, and I've never had it connected to the wired Ethernet. I'll look in Windows to see what the hardware is. Here's the output of the commands you requested.

It's possible the wired connection has never been running, since that was the first time I ran the "ip link show" command on this hardware.

Wow, I can't believe I missed this detail when I ordered this laptop. It has no wired Ethernet. This is a first for Dell laptops I've owned over the years.

I've been seeing the same thing, Plasma says there is no internet, but internet connectivity works fine. I found someone else having the same issue in the spanish section: https://forums.opensuse.org/showthre...d-Connectivity, but I don't see a solution. Most of the thread just seems to be discussion about switching DNS server, or switching to Wicked, but no indication that it solved anything.

"Plasma" is just too vague. If you mean "Plasma NetworkManager applet" - NetworkManager by default performs connectivity checks trying to access http://conncheck.opensuse.org. See /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf and "man NetworkManager.conf". If NM fails to access configured URL it displays a warning.
