    Default Updating Tumbleweed on aarch64

    Hello,

    I successfully installed Tumbleweed aarch64 on a VM on MacOS wirth Apple silicon. Very pleased with the performance.

    The version I currently have is :
    Code:
    (base) rrpalma@vm02opensuse:~> cat /usr/lib/os-release
    NAME="openSUSE Tumbleweed"
    # VERSION="20211008"
    ID="opensuse-tumbleweed"
    ID_LIKE="opensuse suse"
    VERSION_ID="20211008"
    PRETTY_NAME="openSUSE Tumbleweed"
    ANSI_COLOR="0;32"
    CPE_NAME="cpe:/o:opensuse:tumbleweed:20211008"

    HOME_URL="https://www.opensuse.org/"
    DOCUMENTATION_URL="https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Tumbleweed"
    LOGO="distributor-logo-Tumbleweed"

    Release 20211012 is already out, but I can't seem to be able to upgrade:

    Code:
    vm02opensuse:~ # zypper ref
    Repository 'Main Repository (OSS)' is up to date.
    Repository 'Main Update Repository' is up to date.

    Hi
    Nothing wrong, you have the latest aarch64 snapshot 20211008.... it tracks a bit behind the x86_64 snapshot. When a new snapshot is released you will see a notification in the Forum (It's automatic from the ARM Factory Mailing List).

    Thank you *VERY MUCH* for your reply. I thought that might be a possibility, but was still racking my brains about the (nonexisting) problem. Learned a lot in the way :-)

    Thanks again.

    You can always try, but I doubt that it will work. Compatibility with a platform entails much more than cpu commonality.
