    Code:
    ConditionPathExists=/var/spool/hylafax/etc/setup.cache was not met

    Changed to:

    ConditionPathExists=/etc/hylafax/setup.cache
    In 2 files hylafax-hfaxd.service and hylafax-faxq.service
    Now hylafax starts but the scheduler doesn't.

    I'll work on this again tomorrow.
    Again thanks for all the help

    Hi
    Change it back and run the setup command I posted and see if that helps.

    I did that when I added my backup modem. But did it again. Nothing. I'm on my phone right now.

    Looking at the log files I keep seeing :No etc/setup.cache file; run faxsetup first

    there is no setup.cache file there in /etc/. so I linked it. still nothing
    why are so many files for hylafax moved all over the place?

    Hi
    Well, you modified it (hfaxd) and it started, did you change it back to the default and run the setup program?
