Essientially, I did a 'zypper dup', after confirming everything was as it should be.
I went as far as to 'dup the system, I did not pay attention to the BTRFS section as I don't use it.

BUT! the problem was there in 15.2 before I upgraded this old HP desktop, and the other machine under 15.2 were OK. It happened sometime in late March 2021, after an update that did a lot of things to system files.
    Hi
On the other systems the file is the same as well as the package version (plasma5-workspace)?

I checked on two other machines, and the file is basically the same except for the way they are formatted. Lots of language stuff. And I have plasma on all of our machines.

The other 2 machines did not have the
    Code:
Unknown key name 'TerminalOptions' in section 'Desktop Entry
    .
That line was blank so I'm thinking that is why they did not have the problem. I removed it because I didn't know what to put there.

So far, The DC7700 CMT HP desktop is not doing that after I removed that line from the file. How it got there is way beyond me, and so far back, there is no way to track it.
The only real difference in machines is the HP CMT is not UEFI.

@malcolmlewis, I will keep track of this going forward, and report back if it occurs again.
Mat as well count this thread done, until or if 'UID 65534 and nobody' show up again in the boot process logging.
    HP Compaq desktop Leap15.2, Win10, Win7
    Toshiba laptops Leap15.2 & Win10, HP AiO Leap 15.2.
I can now print with openSuSe Leap! Can Scan now, could be better!!
I can backup my iPod and iPad with Windows, can't with Linux.(Will get there someday!)

65534 and nobody gone for 2 days. Now back, and klipper is not the problem.
Looks to me like it may something in systemd, but that is just guessing.
    OR WHAT???
I am at a loss. Maybe time to put the USB key in and do an upgrade from it??

Another note, no updates for 2 days. then last night several updates via zypper up.
I don't know if that had anything to do with it, but...... seems odd to me.

I can go find the journal log and do a 'find' for 65534 if that will help.
