Thread: Deleting no longer need kernel

    Default Deleting no longer need kernel

    Some months ago I edited my /etc/zypp/zypp.conf to retain a kernel owing to bug in a later kernel:
    Code:

    multiversion.kernels = latest,latest-1,running,5.3.18-lp152.57.1

    The bug has been fixed, and I now longer need to retain the 5.3.18-lp152.57.1 kernel. Would the removal procedure be to edit the multiversion.kernels line to remove the kernel from the list, then run zypper purge.kernels?

    TIA

    Yes, as far as I know, that should work.
