A stable Operating System
Hi all,
I do not like the Leap operating system that requires frequent upgrading. I wish to have a stable OS that upgrades itself from time to time without going through major upheaval of total install.
Would Tumbleweed meet my requirement?
Thanks & Regards,

Re: A stable Operating System
What do you mean bu "total install". As indicated in another thread of you, one can do the step to the next version (in your case 15.2) by simply on-line upgrading. Not much of a "major upheaval".
If Tumbleweed fits you better is up to you.

Re: A stable Operating System
Hi Henk,
Does Tumbleweed need periodic upgrade like, for example, from Leap 15.1 to Leap 15.2 and then from 15.2 to 15.3? If the answer to this question is negative, then that is the OS I will like.

Re: A stable Operating System
Tumbleweed has much more updates. That is why it is called Tumbleweed.
Look in the "News & Announcements > Announcements sub-forums here. I see five of them on the first page, that from 2012-02-21 being the oldest. That is about 5 in two weeks.
