Searching messages doesn't work in Geary email client

After many years of using KDE I've switched to Gnome for the last several weeks and have really come to enjoy and appreciate it. But I am having a problem with Geary, Gnome's email client: I can't search messages. When I enter something in the search field nothing happens. Moreover, after trying the search function, Geary stops checking my imap accounts and I have to logout for Geary to work properly again. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Update was only pushed three days ago, so might be a little time before it appears....

Searching messages now works in Geary. Maybe an update yesterday fixed the problem?

Spoke too soon. Search still isn't working.

Heard back from the Gnome folks, the fix I indicated is in the alpha branch, I will try and look next week if can cherry pick the fixes, but not sure
