Thread: brotli compression with nginx

    Default brotli compression with nginx

I recently switched a home server to opensuse tumbleweed and have noticed that when running nginx, brotli compression is not available. What’s the process for requesting that this compile option be added to the tumbleweed nginx package or have an additional package deliver this module?

    Thanks,
    Dave

I haven't installed this before, but is apparently available as an nginx module.
The original github project page if you want to install both dynamic and static modules according to their instructions
    https://github.com/google/ngx_brotli

Pre-compile nginx dynamic modules are available

You package it, test, submit request for inclusion in development repository and then submit request for inclusion in factory.
