    A ghostscript issue with a failure of the gstoraster filter. It is part of cups-filters. This may take a bug report to resolve.

    I decided to do one more time the upgrade from 15.1 to 15.2 using the DVD. The printer now works...

    Bizarre....perhaps something was missing that caused the gstoraster to fail (in a cryptic way). Glad to read that its working now anyway.
