Maybe problems caused by PulseAudio - it was updated from 11.1 to 13.0: https://software.opensuse.org/package/pulseaudio
Check sound output with ALSA.

I'd love to, if you help me do that. my sound works, I'm just missing the ability to output it to my tv.

Read the earlier part of this thread. There is no NVidia audio hardware enumerated (as if disabled).
