Default Will openSUSE be a sponsor at SCALE 15x ?

I received a notification that my proposed talk on openSUSE at SCALE 15x was turned down... Maybe I didn't sell it hard enough? Who knows...

In any case I noticed that again... openSUSE is not listed as a sponsor early on... In past years, openSUSE has decided to sign on only at the last second (literally!), only a week or two in advance of the event.

I'd think that if openSUSE is interested in being a sponsor, it would make sense to commit early so that the logo is listed in the sponsorship list as long as possible. Thankfully, late sign ups haven't hurt booth location, it's always been pretty good. I see openSUSE is assigned an exhibit booth, so that isn't an issue...

I'd think that ordinarily, that as part of a higher level sponsorship a larger number of slots would be allocated, perhaps even a full "track" for talks in a room during the early days of the event... Which might not be possible now if lecture rooms are all assigned by now.

In any case, this is the website...

One of the last events I was able to speak at was Scale 10x, and LibrePlanet that same year. But I was a bit disappointed to see here that there was not many messages over the past few years. I do feel things have changed, and it seems harder to participate at events now, but I would love to see some openSUSE efforts. Why do you think there has been such seeming scarcity of activity here?
