KDE - Avidemux idx/sub conversion to srt buggy, another app available?

AVIDEMUX app

Tools: OCR vobsub → srt

I see inverse characters in conversion. If play with subtitles, there are no inverse characters. The srt file has duplicate lines. Conversions sometimes miss the last entry.

begin with creating the whole choreography.

And we will show how to do it best.

The online utility is too slow. I’ve been unable to find another in the yast-software. I’v found one utility on github called “Qtesseract5-master.zip”(python) that you can compile for linux.

I can’t find any srt files for the PC game.

Is there another utility for idx/sub → srt conversion?

The avidemux is has not been fixed. How do I contact the development team by email? (no sign-in).

I’m trying to figure out how to build one of the downloads. Maybe it will work better.
VobSub2SRT-master folder
I’ll post on programing/scripting forum sometime on this issue.

Is there another GUI that is part of the yast-software package that will convert idx ir sub to srt text files?

The usual method for getting help / contacting development is via the avidemux forums (developers are active there).
But, you’re gonna have to bight the bullet and sign up for an account so you can post.

and at any rate . . . you’re gonna get better help there for your subtitle issues than you are likely to get here in the openSUSE forums as the issues you are grappling with have probably come up before at some point there.

Thanks, I found the forums. I’m too busy to sign up for it. Sometime, I’ll be able to do that.
