    Default Solaar Black Icon

    Does anyone know the location of the icon Solaar uses? The one I have shown on the panel is black.

    Hi and welcome to the Forum
    What desktop environment? The icon (well svg) is in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/solaar.svg

    Hi
    So can you see the icon now? Are you running wayland or x11?

    Yup, the icon though that shows the battery after Solaar loads is Black regardless of what icon theme is used. I don't know if it's Wayland or X11

    Hi
    If you open a teminal and run;

    Code:
    echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
    If it shows wayland, can you logout and select Xorg Plasma session and see if the icon works.

    Hi
    Could try converting it to a 48x48 png and copy to ~/.icons directory;

    Code:
    convert /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/solaar.svg -resize 48x48 ~/.icons/solaar.png
    It could also still be wanting a 48x48 png image in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps or /usr/share/pixmaps

    malcomlewis thx for the help, appreciated, I found a solution but not for Solaar, I added a widget from KDE called "Inline Battery". In search enter " inline battery " it works great and detects the MX Master, when you click the widget it shows battery % .
