please, any ideas?

Install pavucontrol, run that and see what it reports.

FWIW I’d never buy a laptop model of which I am unsure whether the hardware is supported. And I’m not talking about NVIDIA, AMD, Broadcom or such, but I’ve seen quite some cheap exotic brands where hardware was not detected …

You might try a Tumbleweed live iso, see if a newer kernel does recognize the sound chip

The pavucontrol Installation occurs without any reports
Or do you refer to reports from elsewhere?

No, now run ‘pavucontrol’, as your user.

Actually, since you report no sound card found you should check if a driver is loaded.

/sbin/lspci -nnk

The following audio troubleshooting guide may be useful to you

https://en.opensuse.org/Sound_troubleshooting

In particular, it describes how to use the alsa-info.sh script to generate a comprehensive report about a user’s ALSA environment and uploaded to an online server. The link that it provides can then be shared here so that others can review and advise further.

that’s the “pavucontrl” result

If I search on my system (kernel 5.4) for this one:

I get:

modprobeid 8086:22b8

And here:
https://cateee.net/lkddb/web-lkddb/INTEL_ATOMISP2_PM.html

So I would say, not supported by the Leap 15.1 kernel.

PS:
modprobeid is a script, so you will not get any output…

Try a Tumbleweed live image, some posts on the web suggest you need a newer kernel than Leap has.

It took me a while to download and make a penDrive live from tumblewod
But with it the sound works
Can I make Leap 15.1 audio work from this live?

Can I make Leap 15.1 audio work from this live?

You can add kernel:stable Repo to your Leap 15.1 installation:

zypper ar -f https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/stable/standard/ kernel_stable

And dup to it:

zypper dup --from kernel_stable

But if you have installed any driver from OSS or Update Repo, they do not work anymore.
Also you have to build your driver once more, if you have build it from git (WLAN?)

After kernel stable installation the audio will not start working alone
What should I do?

Ok. The sound worked with TumbleWeed live on a penDrive.
Now I need to know:
1-I must keep trying to make OpenSUSE 15.1 work
2-Install TumbleWeed
Please what is the way?

Did you reboot after installing the kernel from the kernel:standard repo ?

I restarted and also shut down several times.
“Zypper dup --from kernel_stable” asked to choose new or old to install
I chose the new one, is that the problem?
