Default System Settings Crashes Since BIOS Update V1.56

We made a fresh install of Windows 10 last Saturday knowing that there was an update for our Firmware bug. We don't need to tweak the bootline anymore.

    Here's the bug fix:

    BIOS 1.54:
    [Problem fixes]
    - Sync IOAPICID in IVRS and APIC ACPI tables (Linux).
    - Enhance to address vulnerability security issue.
    1.56
    [Problem fixes]
    - Fixed Dolby Audio no function issue.
    - Fixed an issue that Backspace on Numpad key don't send WM_KEYUP when release key.

Since then, 20191112 to 18th, the settings app crashes for all windows. Re-open the app works only once. The app generates an error each time and ask to restart the application. About 12 of them were sent this morning after the fresh install of 20191118.

After post-installation, the app keeps crashing, less often with no error.

    The rest works correctly.

    Code:
     rpm -qa | grep -i kde-agent
    polkit-kde-agent-5-lang-5.17.3-1.1.noarch
    polkit-kde-agent-5-5.17.3-1.1.x86_64

For the same off-line setup, the bug is not present in Kubuntu 19.10 (kde 5.16.5). Upgrading to 20.04 comes with no bugs either.

    Code:
    sudo sed -i 's/eoan/focal/g' /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo apt update && sudo apt -y dist-upgrade

    Operating System: Kubuntu 20.04
    KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.3
    KDE Frameworks Version: 5.64.0
    Qt Version: 5.12.5
    Kernel Version: 5.4.0-050400rc8-generic

I've also been seeing this in Tumbleweed.
Began with Plasma 5.17.2 and persists with 5.17.3

In systemsettings I can enter a window. Back out and try to enter another window and systemsettings immediately crashes.
Get a popup "Dr Konqui" notification that the app has crashed and an option to restart it.

Not sure if this is of any use

    Code:
    systemsettings5 PID: 4,510 Signal: Segmentation fault (11)

oh . . . there are actually some specific references to systemsettings5

    Code:
org.kde.kcoreaddons: Error loading plugin "kcm_lookandfeel" "The shared library was not found."
Plugin search paths are ("/usr/lib64/qt5/plugins", "/usr/bin")
The environment variable QT_PLUGIN_PATH might be not correctly set

    @farcusnz
    Thanks for replying!

Dr. Konqui needs attention, error should come with an option <<copy to clipboard>> and as a bonus, a short description area. Answering yes is a no end loop and no, is ambiguous. We don't know if the fatal error was sent. Plus, Dr. Konqui is shown only after the fresh install here, never when the settings menu overview is done. App crashes occasionally with no error or Dr.Konqui pop-up. 20191112 + 20191116

We've never seen Dr. Konqui nor the actual bug before the BIOS update (V1.53 since June). Good to know that it may not be a Lenovo issue.

Will try to copy the error on our next fresh install. We really appreciate your answer, thanks again.
