Hilfe benötigt bei der Installation eines HP-Druckers

Hallo zusammen,
mein HP Color LaserJet CP1514n - Drucker ist per USB und per Netzwerkkabel an meinem Rechner angeschlossen.
HPLIP ist installiert. Der Drucker ist via IP-Adresse erreichbar.
Leider druckt er noch nicht (weder via USB noch als Netzwerkdrucker).
Ich habe den Drucker als Netzwerkdrucker und als USB-Drucker installiert. Die Druckaufträge und Testseiten werden an den Drucker gesandt, aber nicht ausgedruckt.
Ich hoffe, mir kann jemand anhand des nachfolgenden Codes weiterhelfen:

Bei mir eigentlich nur mit einem -:

-c, --command <Befehl> einen einzelnen Befehl an die Shell
mit -c übergeben

Versuch es mal mit

Übrigens lt. Windows Installation zuerst mit USB und wenn das funktioniert erst mit Netzwerk.

So funktioniert es bei mir.

Ich habe es wie folgt versucht:
1. hp-setup ausgeführt, es erscheint ein Fenster, in dem man Benutzername und Kennwort eingeben soll (wg. Berechtigung zur Installation des Druckers); da hatte ich meinen Benutzer "marcel" eingegeben, die Testseite wurde nicht ausgedruckt, der Drucker wurde zwar angelegt, aber er druckt nicht

2. wie 1. nur, dass ich hier im erscheinenden Fenster meinen root-Benutzer mit Kennwort eingegeben habe, auch hier wird der Drucker zwar angelegt (und gefunden), aber er druckt nicht (weder Testseite noch ähnliches)

3. Versuch hp-plugin zu installieren, es erscheint eine Fehlermeldung als eine Datei im Internet gesucht wird und es kommt zum Abbruch

Der USB-Drucker wird von hp-setup gefunden und installiert. Dabei aktiviere ich die Funktion "Testseite drucken".
Dann erscheint in Statusleiste das Aufklappfenster HPLIP STATUS:
"Device added ... Startet an print job ... Print job completed"
, jedoch wird nix ausgedruckt.

Da du ja das Printing Repo aktiv hast, hast du es mal mit hplip daraus versucht?

Es wird jedoch nichts gedruckt.
Übrigens hatte der Drucker mal unter Suse einwandfrei funktioniert. Erst in der letzten Zeit funktioniert das Drucken nicht mehr. Stattdessen zeigt der Drucker nun beim Start an "Falsches Verbrauchsmaterial". Aber das kann ich mit "ok" bestätigen.
Vor ein paar Tagen hatte ich auch mal in die error.log von hp geschaut. Da stand so etwas wie "Permisson denied. Filter failed". Auch die Ausgaben

lassen mich vermuten, dass es ein Rechteproblem vorliegend gibt. Es war früher so, dass ich die Aufträge teilweise nochmal manuel anstoßen musste, mit root-Passwort und Kennung, aber jetzt scheint schon vorher eine Einschränkung zu wirken, die das Drucken verhindert.
Wo liegt nochmal die error.log von hp. Das war irgendwas mit "/var/ oder /run/hp-lip/error.log

Du solltest das Endgerät in einer anderen Betriebssystemumgebung testen, um Hardwarefehler auszuschließen.
