    Hi
    So are the two directories still mounted in tmpfs, devlxd and shmounts, both of those directories should be zero size, so what is present in them?

    Code:
    ls -all /var/lib/lxd/ | egrep "devlxd|shmounts"
    drwxr-xr-x 1 root root   0 Nov  7 10:53 devlxd
    drwx--x--x 1 root root   0 Nov  7 10:53 shmounts
    You also still have a unix.socket file, delete that too.

    Hi,
    they only get mounted, when i systemctl start lxd.
    i have deleted unix.socket, but am unable to remove the shmounts, and devlxd
    Code:
    m -rf /var/lib/lxd/shmounts/
    rm: cannot remove '/var/lib/lxd/shmounts/': Device or resource busy
    rm -rf /var/lib/lxd
    rm: cannot remove '/var/lib/lxd/shmounts': Device or resource busy
    rm: cannot remove '/var/lib/lxd/devlxd': Device or resource busy

    i manged to remove all dir, after umount -f the mounts, then re install allpackages.

    ls -all /var/lib/lxd/ | egrep "devlxd|shmounts"
    drwxr-xr-x  2 root root   60 Nov  8 03:21 devlxd
    drwx--x--x  2 root root   40 Nov  8 03:21 shmounts

    Hi
    No, the contents, eg I see a sock file, they should all be 0 bytes devlxd shows 60 and shmounts 40, so there must be some hidden files....

    Hi
    Change to the directory (as root user);

    Code:
    cd /var/lib/lxd/shmounts/
    ls -la
    {delete any files}
    cd ../devlxd
    ls -la
    {delete any files}
    For me it worked OTB....

    Hi
    So what other things are installed on the system, do you have other repositories active aside from oss, non-oss and updates?

    I'm running it on Leap 15.1 fine....

    Hi
    Well I only have the defaults here;

    Code:
    zypper lr -E

    #  | Alias               | Name                        | Enabled | GPG Check | Refresh
    ---+---------------------+-----------------------------+---------+-----------+--------

     7 | repo-oss            | Main Repository             | Yes     | (r ) Yes  | Yes
    10 | repo-update         | Main Update Repository      | Yes     | (r ) Yes  | Yes
    11 | repo-update-non-oss | Update Repository (Non-Oss) | Yes     | (r ) Yes  | Yes
    I run btrfs, so is lxcfs running from the output of the mount command?

    Nvidia driver is installed the hardway.

    So of the home repositories, what is installed?

    yes, lxcfs run, to cut the doubt am going to reformat using btrfs.
    can not recall home repo, maybe for dbeaver gui.
    may i ask what benefit do u gain from nvidia hardway, i notice so much eye tearing whil disabling v-blank on steam games, i had to disable v-blank to get for fps.
