    Default Xpenguins on GNOME

    Hi all! I just would like to know if there's a way to get work Xpenguins on GNOME (it works on XFCE for me, but not in GNOME).

    Likely running Wayland rather than Xorg in the GNOME DE?

    Can you check via;

    Code:
    echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
    If it is wayland, then logout and select Gnome on Xorg from the cog dropdown.

    I'm sure i'm running Gnome on Xorg, selected in the login (because a prefere it )

    Doesn't look like it, even when enabling Nautilus to control the desktop. There was a GNOME Shell extension, but has not been maintained...

    Hi! I've alredy tried to instll that extension but it give me error and not install..

    Yes, it would need updating for the latest versions on GNOME Shell... contact the author and see if will consider reviving it, else fork the code and see if you can getting working?
