Default amarok 2.9.70 no more manual update?

    Hello,

Seems that with the last update for amarok a lot of things changed.
All lyrics that I had manually recorded are gone, same things for the album covers
Worse it is no longer possible to add updates manually.
Can somebody confirm that this problem is present?

I use a external mysql (mariadb) data base. During the last updates of mariadb I had some problem with the update and I wonder if this is related.
When I test the connection to the database in amarok I receive a confirm that the connection is available.
With myslq I can look in the amarokdb and I see data in tables "lyrics" and "tracks" but these data are never displayed in amarok.

    Many thanks in advance

    Ok,

    found a answer on https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/amaro...er/011578.html
Seems that the tumbleweed version is now with qt5 but the context has not yet be ported to qt5 and is not working

They are wanting to remove qt4. If the alternatives were to remove Amarok, or to go with a qt5 prebeta version, then I guess I'm okay with what they did.

I can agree with you .
But for me the lyrics was one of the reason why I used amarok.
I tried three other programs (cantata, clementine and elisa) but these three had bugs or missing functionalities with the lyrics and the covers.
I hope that the amarok developers should be able to deliver in the near future another qt5 version with the lyrics working.

Now this version seems OK when listening songs but when I do some update of the tracks I receive a core dump (very short and no more details)
    Code:
    Sep 06 17:09:50 hpprol2 systemd[1]: Created slice system-systemd\x2dcoredump.slice.
    Sep 06 17:09:50 hpprol2 systemd[1]: Started Process Core Dump (PID 24916/UID 0).
    Sep 06 17:09:55 hpprol2 systemd-coredump[24917]: Core file was truncated to 2147483648 bytes.
