Thread: Missing devel files??

    Default Missing devel files??

Hi, under version 42.3 and earlier, I could compile certain applications that required files libwebkitgtk-devel and kdewebkit-devel.

Under leap 15.0 those files are no longer found either via zypper/yast, community repos nor from https://software.opensuse.org/ .

I found one file here https://opensuse.pkgs.org/15.0/kde-f...86_64.rpm.html but I fear this is not an official opensuse repo. I can;t find the libwebkitgtk-devel file on this site.

Can anyone please explain to me why finding files that were at one point included in the standard 42.3 repos now such a hard task to find?

Or what is the standard procedure now for finding/getting "missing' files?

    Thanks,
    Chris.

    Hi
If you use zypper to search for webkit, it should show the likes of kdewebkit-devel and webkit2gtk*-devel (libwebkitgtk is deprecated).
